decorating my room finally..?

I just moved and I have finally gotten everything unpacked and cleaned. Now I need to decorate my room. Its pretty big, but its boring and rectangular. It has 2 medium sized windows and the walls are a sand color. The carpet is a sandy-tan color and I cant paint the walls. I have a desk, a bed, a bookcase (that’s quite short and awkward looking), a digital piano, a square card table, a floor lamp, and a night stand. I also have a pink small floor rug. I don’t know how to decorate it or arrange it, ive tried several arrangements and they all look plain and boring. Another problem is that in my other room, I didn’t have any decorations and now my room is straight up depressing me. Can someone PLEASE give me ideas and pictures, I need to keep a budget of 75 dollars or less, and all I have in my town is a wal-mart and a k-mart. I am a 17 year old girl and I am in desperate need of help, thank you sooo much, i will pick a best answer.

OK you are a young woman now and probably have out grown trendy cheap looking kid stuff. Since you have a large room, try angling your desk, or just have it facing away from the wall instead of into the wall. Or you could angle the bed. Just keep rearranging it until it works for you. Since you only have $75.00, start with a bedspread. Find something that appeals to you.

Maybe your Mom would let you use something from the rest of the house, like a mirror for your wall, or a piece of art. If you want art, and since you don’t have a lot of money…try a paint by number. They are really nice.

If there is a thrift store in town, go check it out…you might find something there that you can use.
