Would a Silver Trumpet Maintenance kit YAC 1034S work on a Gold Holton?

Hello I have played a gold brass Holton Trumpet For about 5 Years and i never had a maintenance kit. I bought a Silver Trumpet Yamaha Maintenance kit YAC 1034S at a state competition souvenir shop. Would the treated silver polishing cloth damage my Gold Holton Trumpet or what would happen? Thank you for all of your help.

The cloth you are using for Silver is the same soft cloth for Gold. Both of these metals are delicate especially the Silver. So you can use it safely on the gold instrument.
We do it all the time at the shop. Just make sure that the cloth is used soley for polishing and that their are no abrasive in it.
