The reason why I say 15/10 production is because those 2 albums exceed what most people consider 10/10 production
IMO
In the case of The Unseen it still can be a classic, because it wasn’t intended to be a great lyrical album. The main focus was intended to be the production. Although the lyrics weren’t great, the vocals added another level of creativity to the album, which complimented the production.
On the other hand, Livin Proof was made to showcase Group Home, but they failed as emcees and were completely outshined by Premo’s beats, so I wouldn’t call it a classic.

Unseen $16.98 The high-pitched alter-ego of the Lootpack’s Madlib, Quasimoto concocts one of the most creative hip-hop albums in recent times. Sounding like a lost demo tape from 1992, and made under the influence of some serious mind-altering substances, The Unseen finds Quasi indulging in scattered, stream-of-consciousness rhymes and a collection of dusty jazz breaks and loops. Not only does the album sample … |

Jazz Cats Unmasked by Loughlin, Jill [Paperback] $187.99 New Zealand jazz education has come of age in the last 30 years. The presence of a jazz curriculum in schools and universities has reflected students desire to study this vernacular music and an adherence to international shifts in music education. Yet, the Jazz genre commands the least market share in terms of record sales and concert attendance worldwide. Now often described as Americas true classical music, the cogent questions would seem to be why jazz, why now and why here? This book explores these questions through the narratives of two New Zealandborn jazz educators who have made considerable contributions in postsecondary settings. It takes a critical look at their musical lives, and the influence that experience, context and selfperception has on their teaching philosophies. Stripping back the layers created by predominant binaries of musician/educator, glocal/global, history/genealogy, formal/informal, and generalist/specialist, this book makes liberal use of a range of artsinformed methodologies to unmask the main actors in jazz education adding to the ongoing broader international discussions of future directions of the art. Author: Loughlin, Jill Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 280 Publication Date: 2009/11/10 Language: English Dimensions: 9.02 x 5.98 x 0.63 inches |

Songs about My Cats $65.33 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Songs About My Cats is a 2001 glitchcore album by Venetian Snares. It is also his first solo album on the Planet Mu label (Making Orange Things, released barely one month prior to Songs About My Cats on Planet Mu, was a collaboration with Speedranch). The album features influence from many separate styles. The most prominent influence is ambient music, however, certain songs also show influence from jazz music, such as Pouncelciot, which uses samples from an improvisation by Anthony Braxton, and even influence from classical music and salsa music appear on the album. Songs About My Cats is unusual because Venetian Snares songs typically use a 7/4 time signature, while none of the songs on this album do. Breakfast Time for Baboons, Poor Kakarookee, and Pouncelciot are in 10/4. Nepetalactone is in 9/4 and Fluff Master is in 11/4. Both Katzesorge tracks are identical except that the second has a barely audible drone in the background for most of the song. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F.
