The Honda Freed is a Mini MPV produced by the Japanese automaker Honda since 2008. The vehicle is a replacement for the Honda Mobilio. The Freed is based on the Jazz/Fit platform. Three different versions of the Freed are available: a sevenseat version which features captains seats in the second row; an eightseat version; and a fiveseat version. Honda also stated that a wheelchairaccessible model is offered in addition to versions with a side liftup seat and passenger liftup seat. The Freed is equipped with a 1.5L engine with 118 horsepower, which is the same engine that is used in the Honda Jazz/City, but the engine used in the Honda Freed has a small difference in torque. For example, the Honda Freeds engine has torque of 148 Nm, while the Honda Jazz/City had 120 Horsepower with torque of 145 Nm.
