When there are chromatic harps that can play the same scales in any key?
Besides the ease of playing a diatonic harmonica.

Thats basically it…the ease of it already being tuned to a scale. Also the tone will be a lot more rounder on chromatics and you can bend better without worrying about ruining an expensive harp if it is diatonic.
