Fender Jazz Bass Mexican

fender jazz bass mexican
Could someone please give me information about a guitar from the serial number?

The instrument is a Mexican Fender Jazz Bass. The serial number is MZ7001218. I think it was made in 2007-2008 but i’m not sure. Please tell me everything you can about this bass guitar.
Was looking more for information in relation to the serial number rather than model but thanks all the same. I know that the M stands for mexican, and on the US model, a Z7 in the serial number means the year 2007, but whether this is the same on mexican instruments, I can only guess. Don’t have a clue what the rest of the number means.

The Mexican Jazz Bass combines many of the features of the American Deluxe models with a traditional Standard Jazz Bass body, vintage-style hardware and a 20-fret rosewood (4-string) or pao ferro (5-string) fingerboard. It also sports a 3-band active circuit powered by two dual-coil ceramic Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups and a 9V supply.

I do believe it is all the same whether American/Mexican/whatever. As for the the other numbers, they could signify the make #. Like for example, this could be guitar number 1218 out of 2000 made.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Fender Mustang Bass is an electric bass guitar model produced by Fender. Two variants, the Musicmaster Bass and the Bronco Bass, have also been produced from time to time using the same body and neck shape. Introduced in 1966 as a companion to Fenders shorterscaled, 2pickup Fender Mustang guitars, the Mustang Bass was the last original bass designed by Leo Fender before his departure from the company in 1965. The Mustang Bass has a short 30 scale and a single split pickup (similar to the Pbass), one volume and one tone control, with stringsthroughbody routing. Like the early Precision and Jazz basses, the Mustang Bass was fitted with string mutes (although most players removed these). Fender Bass VI

Fender Bass VI

$82.85

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Fender Bass VI, originally known as the Fender VI, is a sixstring electric bass or Scale Baritone Guitar by Fender. The Fender VI was released in 1961, and followed the concept of the Danelectro 6string bass released in 1956, having six strings tuned EE, an octave below the Spanish guitar. Its other ancestor was the Fender Jazzmaster, with which it shared many styling and technical details. Its body and electronics so closely matched those of the Fender Jaguar, released the following year, that in all but name the Fender VI was the first model of the Jaguar line released. It departed from the concept of the Fender Precision Bass not only in having six strings, but also in having a shorter scale and thinner strings. Bass Clarinet

The bass clarinet is a musical instrument of the clarinet family. Like the more common soprano B clarinet, it is usually pitched in B (meaning it is a transposing instrument on which a written C sounds as B), but it plays notes an octave below the soprano B clarinet. Bass clarinets in other keys, notably C and A, also exist, but are very rare. Bass clarinets regularly perform in symphony orchestras, wind ensembles, and play an occasional solo role in contemporary music and jazz in particular.
