How do I teach a cornet/trumpet embouchure to a little student.?

So I need to teach a little kid a trumpet embouchure. He/she has never played a brass instrument before. How should I go about this? It would be nice to have a step by step process. Please keep it simple, remember this is an 10 year old we’re talking about.

I’m a Freshman in High school, I’m in concert band 1, Jazz band 1, pep band, and marching band, so i can give you some advice.

I remember when I started, I started buzzing WITHOUT the mouthpiece. It’s key to get the basics down first, such as how to vibrate your lips the correct way. Keep the corners tight*****.

Tell he/she to loosen the chops for lower notes, and tighten for high notes. Also make sure to tell the student to NEVER blow out chops playing high notes right at first. It ruins your embouchure if it’s not done correctly. ***The mouthpiece should ALWAYS be centered, unless for some reason you just can’t, but teach her to center it. This is the correct way to use the mouthpiece.

Tell the student that’s high notes= Fast air stream, NOT the ammount of air.
