how’s my piano?
hey guys, i have a baldwin piano in the hamilton series. it’s aprx ten years old.
it’s mahogony finish and a studio piano.
i cant find any information on it online
the piano is tuned and works great.
but i just want to know, is this a good brand? i mean.. is this something that will last a long time?
i just want to know how it is, like. quality wise.

Baldwin pianos aren’t the greatest however, their Hamilton Series uprights are solid and sturdy instruments for practice. They are excellent for beginning to intermediate students. i would not recommend these pianos for late intermediates and advanced students. The Baldwin’s will last but they will last as long as you take care of it – just like any piano.
In terms of the condition of it, call in a piano technician to evaluate the instrument. A technician is different than a tuner. A tuner only turns the tunning pegs while a technician is an expert who can evaluate the entire piano.
