Who are some really good classical piano artists?
(Besides Beethoven, Mozart & Chopin)
I’ve been listening to some classical music and I find it to be very soothing. So far I only have a few songs and I’ve been craving more but I don’t know many classical piano artists. Any ideas please?
Do you want some specific pieces or just composers? I can give you both if you want 
If you want more soothing pieces, I would also look into a lot of Brahms and Schubert. Brahms tends to be rich and warm, my teacher compared playing Brahms to sinking your hands into red velvet. Listen to his shorter pieces, like the intermezzi. I’m a pianist and I *love* Schubert, it’s in some ways like Beethoven but softer, less technically complex but more floating, melodic, and sad in an uplifting way. (Listen to it and you’ll see what I mean). Listen to his impromptus and his sonatas (try specifically the third impromptu in G-flat minor and the second movement of the last sonata in B-flat major, gorgeous!)
Schumann is also an excellent piano composer. Delve around, I’m sure you’ll find more stuff that you’ll love

The best known examples is the Play Me, Im Yours project by artist Luke Jerram. The concept originates quite by accident in Sheffield, England.In Sheffield, The Street Piano was a piano on the pavement on Sharrow Vale Road. It was originally left outside temporarily because the owner could not get it up the steps into his new house. As a social experiment the owner and a friend then attached a sign inviting passers by to play the piano for free. This offer was taken up by a great many people and the piano became a part of the local community. It has so far survived for over a year, including being stolen and subsequently replaced by a newer model (having 45 separate volunteers willing to provide a new one).
